Omschrijving
De OHAUS Explorer is een reeks laboratoriumweegschalen voor werk waarbij het niet genoeg is dat het gewicht klopt - het moet ook vastgelegd worden. Er zijn achtendertig uitvoeringen, van een analytische balans die tot op 0,01 mg afleest tot een precisieweegschaal van 12,2 kg met stappen van 0,1 g.
Waarin de Explorer zich onderscheidt van de Adventurer is de uitvoer. Hij heeft RS-232, USB en ethernet, en kan draadloos via wifi of bluetooth; het weegresultaat gaat daarmee rechtstreeks naar een computer of een laboratoriuminformatiesysteem in plaats van dat het wordt overgeschreven. Negentien uitvoeringen zijn geschikt voor ijking.
De weegschaal telt stuks, weegt in procenten, bepaalt dichtheid, controleweegt tussen twee grenzen en houdt een gewicht vast dat niet stilligt. Er is een uitgebreide reeks toebehoren: een ionisator tegen statische lading, een verdampingsval voor het narekenen van pipetten, een dichtheidsset en een vingerafdruklezer waarmee bij elke weging vastligt wie hem deed.
